The Three Horseshoes is owned and run by business partners Sam & Russell who have been good friends for almost a decade.
They both share a love for the industry and local surroundings. In an effort to showcase Herefordshire products, and support local businesses they have made it a big conscious decision to buy local; this is evident in our menu.
Sam has worked tirelessly within all sectors of the industry, from running his own business, to corporate employment and most recently to distilling, and he has been known to be a dab hand in the kitchen too.
Russel is a local farmer and regular at the Three Horseshoes and of course owner of the Great British Meatbox who supply our meat, (extremely handy). Together both business partners aim to bring back traditional values in the ever growing evolution of the hospitality trade and stay true to the identity of the pub.
Head Chef Jamie has spent almost a decade in a variety of restaurants, most recently coming out of a corporate setting, however with the team he has here and their combined knowledge, he is able to fulfil his hunger to always push the boundaries. The menu may seem minimalistic but with the effort and time that goes into everything, including sourcing some of the best salad in the county, you can see why The Three Horseshoes is evolving at a rapid rate.
With the help of head chef Jamie and front of house manager Becky, we are trying to evolve the Three Horseshoes to what we think it should be.
Whether it’s for a catch up and a quick bite with something off our sandwich menu, or for a small gathering and a sit down meal with a bottle of one of our carefully selected wines – there is something here for everyone.
